Emily De Molly December 2020 Collection – Swatch & Review (PR)

Emily De Molly is about to drop a new collection, and let me tell you… it is gorgeous!

It’s an 8 piece collection; with two circle-glitter crellies, five shifty flakies and one foil finish.

Spoiler alert: they’re all phenomenal! Each polish has a great formula and super pretty finish!!

For my Australian followers, it will launch on December, Friday the 4th at 10am AEDT

And for my American/ International followers, it will launch on December, Thursday the 3rd at 6pm EST

Before I Forget

A light turquoise blue crelly with metallic copper glitters. A perfect, Robins Egg blue. This one was one of the biggest standouts for me! It applied really easily, and specific glitter placement isn’t necessary, the polish does all the work for you!

$9 USD / $11 AUD

Blur the Line

A bright orchid purple base with blue and red iridescent flakes. This is possibly the most photogenic polish I’ve ever tried! It’s got a deep purple/ fuchsia base and is packed full of vibrant flakies. STUNNING!! Again, formula is amazing on this one and applies like a dream.

$10 USD / $12 AUD

Double Cross

A black jelly base with copper / gold / green iridescent flakes. This one is the perfect dark, shifty polish! It looks pretty green under direct light, and during the rest of the day it looks pretty close to black with a strong copper/ red shift.

$10 USD / $12 AUD

Fall Back

A murky green jelly with silver metallic flakes. This one gave me such “magical fairy garden” and Katniss Everdeen kinda vibes! I had so much fun wearing it and it really surprised me with how much I loved it. Again, formula is A+.

$10 USD / $12 AUD

Final Answer

A dark emerald green jelly base with assorted iridescent flakes. This one is a straight up mermaid polish 🧜‍♀️ it doesn’t get more “enchanted, magical underwater city” than this!! Love, love, love! Not to sound repetitive, but this one also has that easy to apply formula.

$10 USD / $12 AUD

One Look

A dark blue base with blue to purple shifting foil type shimmer. This one was the first one I tried from the collection, and let me tell you right now – it is hands down, the best metallic blue I’ve ever used. And that’s a big statement, considering I own a completely unreasonable amount of metallic blues (alright, I probably own 10+ metallic blues, what can I say, they’re my weakness hah!)

It is soooo sparkly and foiled, it really is on another level of magic. And formula wise, you could really get away with one coat and no problems, it’s THAT good!

$9 USD / $11 AUD

A mustard yellow with metallic pewter glitters. If this doesn’t scream Autumn/ Fall, then I don’t know what does. It’s got the same formula as Before I Forget, and the finished manicure reminded me a lot of a ripe banana, yum!

$9 USD / $11 AUD

Something Special

A very pale pink crelly with silver holographic micro flakes and iridescent flakes. This one is so dainty and feminine, a really soft, classy shade! And the shimmer is unreal, it shifts from gold, to red, to lime! It really reminded me of unicorns 🦄

$10 USD / $12 AUD

Alright! So that’s a wrap on the upcoming Emily De Molly December 2020 Collection. I’ve gotta say, this is a really, really great release!! The formulas are impeccable and the shades are so fun and unique.

What are your thoughts on this collection? Which ones really stood out to you, and are you going to pick any up? Let me know down in the comments!

As always, I’ll see you all in my next post!

Before I Forget is so beautiful, it reminds me of turquoise! Honestly, Emily de Molly has so many gorgeous polishes, I only have a couple but always feel on the verge of emptying my entire bank account when I see their releases.
